Biography

With over 40 years of experience across multiple combat sports, including Taekwondo, Boxing, Wrestling, Kajukenbo, and Karate, Master James Corbin is a seasoned martial arts coach and leader. He has coached male and female wrestlers, including multiple state champions and collegiate All-Americans, and served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for a team that won the Softball Little League World Series.
For 15 years, Master Corbin owned martial arts schools in Montana and Washington, where he cultivated champions. His athletes have achieved success at the highest levels, including US Open Medalists and Champions. As the President of the Montana Taekwondo Association and Director & Head Coach of the Montana GAU Team, he has guided his teams to nine state titles in 11 years, with two runner-up finishes.
Master Corbin’s impressive accolades include being a 2-time AAU National Champion Team Coach, a recipient of the prestigious AAU Best Coach Award, and having coached numerous athletes who went on to win national titles and become nationally ranked. He has also worked closely with many GAU coaches and renowned striking coach Duran Caferro, a World Championship competitor and Olympic alternate in boxing.‍
