Biography

A father of four, Trevor and his wife have produced a family of black belt athletes in Alaska. Trevor is “Papa” to three grandchildren and continues to foster a prominent Tae Kwon Do club in his community. Trevor began Tae Kwon Do under the direction of GM Yong Chin Pak from Iowa State University. Kukkiwon Certified black belt since 1989. Tae Kwon Do 7th dan USAT, 6th dan Kukkiwon. Hapkido 5th Dan and Judo 3rd Dan Black Belt.

  • Coached MMA fighters for the Alaska Fighting Championship (AFC) as co-head coach and stand-up fighting coach (2011-2018).
  • Developed and coached multiple fighters in various MMA events in Anchorage and Wasilla.
  • Greatland Martial Arts coached two fighters to belt titles in the AFC.

Tae Kwon Do Coaching Achievements

  • Produced U.S. Team Trial finalists.
  • Developed the first Alaskan Female Team U.S.A. athlete, who competed in:
    • Pan American Games.
    • World Games.
    • Multiple international events, holding a top 10 U.S. ranking for three years.
  • Produced two U.S. Army Tae Kwon Do Team U.S.A. members.
  • Coached multiple State, National, Collegiate, and International Medalists.
