Master Victor Teran is from Hoboken, NJ, and presently resides in Arvada, Colorado, owner of International Taekwon-Do Academy in Colorado. Master Teran is a U.S Marine Corps Combat Veteran, served in Iraq for 10.5 years. Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Diplomatic Private security contractor for Blackwater and Triple Canopy. In addition, he is a former Ambassador for the Student Veterans of America Chapter for the American Military University. Focusing on veterans’ outreach programs, partnering with organizations like the Wounded Warrior Project; to provide mentorship and training for the wounded veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, and traumatic brain injury.

Master Teran has previously partnered with Play4Autism Foundation in New Jersey to provide training to children with autism spectrum disorder, and recently partnered with the “Dear Jack Foundation” in Colorado, who provides programs to adolescent and young adult cancer patients, survivors, and family. “This is a special project, because it is all about giving back to our community; in the belief that the opportunity to learn martial arts should be available to everyone, no matter their condition, setbacks, or limitations”.
